Technovator - Ukrainian phone charger that transmits current through the air

Surely you already know what weakness the Join Japan team has for fresh and interesting technology start-ups from Ukraine. We are in a hurry to share another novelty.

Technovator – is wireless charger for mobile devices, which is a unique development of Ivan Chub and partners. A feature of the model is its ability to transfer current to the battery for charging through the air.

Start-up is one of the most successful Ukrainian projects in 2019. The implementation of the concept took 400 thousand dollars collected by the developers themselves. Under the Horizon 2020 program, the guys could win the grant in the amount of 50 thousand dollars.

Ivan says that the idea came to him during the grey office everyday life. Everyone constantly had problems with charging mobile. And he did not find standard solutions around him.

Children's hobbies in radio electronics allowed him to think of the idea of creating a wireless charger that would allow him to keep the phone in working mode always.

After much trial and error, a concept was created:

● at home, in the office, in the car or any other room, a special transmitter is installed;
● phone case contains a receiver;
● transmitter operates in the range of 5 meters from the receiver, it forms an electromagnetic field, the waves of which are converted into energy for charging.

The Join Japan team thinks the project should have a good future!

We cooperate with various startups as well, helping them to find partners and investors in Japan. Having over 5 years of experience, we are always open for new projects.
